Insurance

Classify, extract and review claims, policy and medical documents for workers' compensation, health, general and employer liability insurance.

Where the time goes

  • Claim files arrive as mixed bundles of forms, bills, reports and correspondence
  • Adjusters and TPA staff re-key the same fields into claim systems
  • Medical and policy documents are long, and key facts are buried in them
  • Reviewers need to see why a field was read the way it was

How it works in practice

Documents arrive by upload, API or connected channel. Droqify classifies each one, matches it to a schema from the relevant pack, and extracts the fields your team needs, such as claimant, policy number, dates, diagnosis codes and amounts. Each field carries a confidence score, and validation rules flag values that look wrong or inconsistent.

Related documents for the same claim can be linked, so an adjuster sees the claim form, medical reports and bills together instead of searching for them.

Where people stay in the loop

Documents that fall below your confidence threshold, fail validation or do not match a known schema are routed to a human review queue. Reviewers correct fields, assign a schema or approve the result. Corrections are recorded, and every action is written to an audit log.

Packs by market

Pack coverage is regional. The workers’ compensation pack is for the US; health, general and labour and employer liability packs are for the UAE; health and general insurance packs are for India. Teams outside these markets can start with the general pack and define their own schemas.

Search and deployment

Processed documents can be searched and queried in chat, with answers tied to the source document. Droqify runs as SaaS, single-tenant in your own Azure subscription, or as a managed service, with per-tenant isolation.

Questions we hear

Which insurance document types are covered?
Droqify ships industry packs by market: workers' compensation for the US, health, general and labour and employer liability for the UAE, and health and general insurance for India. The documents each pack covers are listed above. Other document types can be handled by defining your own schema.
Can the platform handle protected health information?
The platform supports HIPAA-regulated workloads under a signed BAA on eligible plans, and includes PHI masking in logs and audit logging. Using Droqify does not by itself satisfy your HIPAA obligations.
Does a person review extracted data?
Yes. Low-confidence or flagged documents go to a human review queue where a reviewer can correct fields, approve or reject before the file moves on.
Can it connect to our claims system?
Results are available through the API and webhooks. Integration with your claims platform is scoped per customer.
