Invoice and accounts payable intake

Capture invoice, purchase order and receipt data into structured records, with review for unclear fields before export.

Documents in

  • Invoices
  • Receipts
  • Purchase orders
  • Bank statements

How it runs

  1. Intake

Invoices arrive by upload or API as single files or batches, each tracked as a job.

  2. Text extraction and OCR

Text is extracted from PDFs and Word files, and scanned pages are read with OCR.

  3. Classification and schema matching

Documents are classified and matched to schemas from the general business documents pack, or to a custom schema.

  4. Field extraction

Supplier, invoice number, dates, line items, tax and totals are extracted with per-field confidence.

  5. Human review

Low-confidence fields and documents with no schema match wait in the review queue for an AP clerk to correct and approve.

  6. Output

Approved records are exported via API and webhooks to the finance process.

What you get

  • Structured invoice records with per-field confidence
  • Mixed batches sorted into invoices, receipts and purchase orders
  • Corrected values confirmed by a person before export
  • Searchable archive of source documents

Where review fits

Reviewers see only what the system is unsure about. Corrections feed back into later extractions for the same schema, so recurring supplier layouts need fewer edits over time.

Integration points

Droqify exports structured data via API and webhooks. Matching and posting happen in the customer’s own finance system; no specific accounting product integration is assumed here. A new supplier format is handled by adjusting the schema rather than building a template per supplier.
