Pre-authorisation and health claim documents
Extract structured data from pre-authorisation requests, hospital bills and claim bundles, with review for uncertain fields.
Documents in
- Pre-authorisation letters
- Health claim forms
- Hospital bills
- Discharge summaries
- Health policies
- Member and insurance cards
- Lab and diagnostic reports
- Settlement and remittance advice
How it runs
-
Intake
Pre-authorisation requests and claim bundles are uploaded or submitted via API, each as a tracked job.
-
Text extraction and OCR
Digital text is extracted directly and scanned or sparse pages go through OCR.
-
Classification and schema matching
Each document in a bundle is identified and matched to a health insurance schema from the regional pack. Unmatched documents are flagged.
-
Field extraction
Patient, policy, provider, diagnosis and billing fields are extracted with per-field confidence.
-
Human review
Low-confidence fields pause for a claims reviewer, who corrects and approves so processing can resume.
-
Output
Summaries and structured results are searchable and delivered via API and webhooks.
What you get
- Structured pre-authorisation and claim records with per-field confidence
- Bundled hospital documents separated and labelled by type
- Reviewer-confirmed values for fields the system was unsure about
- Searchable claim files with summaries
Where review fits
Review is configurable per stage. Teams commonly review field extraction and any document that finds no matching schema, while high-confidence results continue without a pause.
Integration points
Results leave Droqify through the API and webhooks, so they can feed an existing claims or policy administration process. Regional packs for health insurance cover India and the UAE and GCC document sets. Droqify supports data handling controls that customers can use as part of their own regulatory obligations; it does not by itself make a deployment compliant.
