Conveyancing and property law (New Zealand)

Early access for New Zealand property lawyers who assemble matter files from agreements, LIMs, titles and reports; join the waitlist. Review aids only.

Where the time goes

  • A matter file mixes agreements, council records, titles and reports
  • The same property detail is re-keyed into several places
  • Reports and LIMs are long and read under time pressure
  • Names and addresses are written differently across documents

What is in the early-access pack

The conveyancing pack is available to early-access customers. Document types cover agreements for sale and purchase with variations and notices, council LIM reports and attachments, records of title with registered instruments and plans, unit title and body corporate documents, settlement statements, and building reports including producer statements. An optional module covers wills, enduring powers of attorney, trust deeds and probate documents.

Starter schemas extract fields such as property address, matter number, legal description, record of title identifier, vendor, purchaser, price, deposit, agreement, settlement, finance, LIM and building report dates, GST status of the sale, council, LIM special notes, building consent numbers, whether a code compliance certificate is shown as issued, easement and covenant summaries, and body corporate levies. Cross-document indexes cover matter number, property, record of title, title or estate type, party, settlement date, council and body corporate. Smart folders group files by freehold, cross-lease, unit title, leasehold and stratum matters. Sample questions ask for parties, price and dates, conditions and their dates, easements and covenants as written, LIM special notes, and what is missing or needs review.

What is still being confirmed

Early-access packs are built from public form and agency guidance; some details are still being checked and may change. They have not been validated on production customer documents, and forms and fields will be confirmed with early-access customers. Reviewers compare documents using the extracted data and search; the pack does not check a file for completeness or compare documents automatically. Where your forms are not covered, your team can define additional schemas.

Where people stay in the loop

Each extracted field has a model-reported confidence score (not calibrated). When you turn on Human in the Loop for an upload, processing pauses at the steps you choose so a person can check the source document and correct the data before it continues. Documents that match no schema are flagged. Everything the pack surfaces is a review aid. A lawyer signs off, and Droqify does not give legal advice. Key actions are written to an audit log.

Items an answer may show, such as special notes, easements, covenants or a missing certificate, are review aids and not conclusions. AI-generated summaries can be wrong, so read the source documents before you rely on any of them.

Questions we hear

Is there a New Zealand conveyancing pack?
Yes, in early access. It ships document types, starter schemas, cross-document indexes, sample questions and smart folders for property matters. It has not been validated on production customer documents.
Does Droqify give legal advice?
No. The pack is a set of review aids. A lawyer reviews the source documents and signs off. Droqify does not give legal advice.
Can I rely on the summaries?
No. Summaries and extracted fields can contain errors. Treat them as a starting point for review and check the source documents.
What does early access mean?
We are opening New Zealand gradually. Join the waitlist and we will contact you about fit, scope and timing. Features and availability may change. Early access: not yet validated on New Zealand documents with customers.
Where does AI processing run?
Data location can be agreed in an Order Form on Private and Enterprise plans; where AI processing runs is disclosed before you sign. Document text is processed by an AI service.
