Insurance claims (Australia)

Early access for Australian general insurance claims teams who handle policy schedules, claim forms, quotes and assessor reports; join the waitlist.

Where the time goes

  • Claim files mix forms, quotes, reports and correspondence
  • Staff re-key the same details into claim systems
  • Catastrophe events bring surges of claims at once
  • Files arrive across eight states and territories with different forms

What is in the early-access pack

The general insurance claims pack is available to early-access customers. Document types cover policy schedules, certificates of currency and endorsements, claim forms and statutory declarations, repair, rebuild and restoration quotes with supplements and tax invoices, motor total-loss valuations, assessor, adjuster and building expert reports, documents tagged to a declared catastrophe event (emergency repairs, temporary accommodation and cash settlements), police and fire reports, and complaint, internal dispute resolution and AFCA correspondence.

Starter schemas extract fields such as policy number, insured, cover type, state, sum insured, excess, date of loss, loss type, vehicle identification number, claim lodged date, catastrophe event number, quote totals including GST, supplier ABN, the assessor’s recommended quantum and reserve as printed, decision outcome, AFCA case number and the dates of each step. Cross-document indexes cover claim number, policy number, insured, vehicle, state, loss type, date of loss, catastrophe event, AFCA case and police or fire event. Smart folders group files by state or territory, storm and flood. Sample questions ask for a claim document summary, excess and sum insured, quote totals including GST, the reason an insurer gave for its decision, and items that need human review.

What is still being confirmed

Early-access packs are built from public form and agency guidance; some details are still being checked and may change. They have not been validated on production customer documents, and forms and fields will be confirmed with early-access customers. Reviewers compare documents using the extracted data and search; the pack does not check a file for completeness or compare documents automatically. Where your forms are not covered, your team can define additional schemas.

Where people stay in the loop

Each extracted field has a model-reported confidence score (not calibrated). When you turn on Human in the Loop for an upload, processing pauses at the steps you choose so a person can check the source document and correct the data before it continues. Documents that match no schema are flagged. The pack prepares document data for your claims staff; it does not decide claims, cover or liability. Key actions are written to an audit log.
