Contract review and extraction

Extract parties, dates, obligations and key terms from contracts into structured records that legal teams confirm and search.

Documents in

  • Contracts
  • Leases
  • Amendments
  • Statements of work

How it runs

  1. Intake

Contracts are uploaded or sent via API, individually or in bulk, and tracked as jobs.

  2. Text extraction and OCR

Text is extracted from digital files and scanned signature pages and older copies are read with OCR.

  3. Classification and schema matching

Each agreement is classified and matched to a contract schema from the general pack, or a custom schema where terms differ.

  4. Field extraction

Parties, effective and end dates, renewal and termination terms, payment terms and governing law are extracted with confidence values.

  5. Human review

Uncertain fields and unmatched agreements pause for a lawyer or contract manager, who corrects and approves.

  6. Summary and search

A summary is generated and the contract set can be searched and queried through chat.

What you get

  • Structured contract record with per-field confidence
  • Plain-language summary for each agreement
  • Searchable contract repository
  • Reviewer-confirmed key terms

Where review fits

Extraction highlights where to look; it does not give legal advice. A reviewer confirms key terms, and approval is recorded against the document.

Integration points

Results are available via API and webhooks, so extracted terms can feed a contract register or reporting tool. Droqify can run in the customer’s Azure tenant when contract confidentiality requires it. Jurisdiction-specific legal packs exist for India and the UAE.
